Bulldog Services (operated by Bulldog Consulting Services, “Bulldog,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and serves clients across the United States and Canada. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website (bulldogservices.org) and our intake, partner, and contact forms, how we use and disclose it, and the choices and rights you have. It is intended to align with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

By using our website or submitting information to us, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

Information We Collect

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, as well as a limited amount of technical information that is collected automatically when you visit our site.

Personal and contact information. Through our intake, partner, and contact forms we may collect your full legal name, residential address, date of birth, phone number, and email address.

Business information. Details about your business, including business name and registration details, industry, and other operating details you choose to share.

Financial information. Your stated monthly revenue, a self-reported credit profile, information about existing debts or collections, your funding interests, and free-text notes you provide.

Documents. After intake, and as needed to deliver a service, you may provide supporting financial documents such as bank statements, business registration documents, and business plans.

Essential cookies and server logs. Our site uses only essential cookies required for the site to function and standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) maintained by our hosting provider for security and reliability. We do not use the site to run third-party advertising or analytics tracking.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Assess your eligibility for funding, grants, or debt-recovery services;
  • Build custom funding, grant, and debt-recovery strategies tailored to your situation;
  • Prepare lender-ready packages and supporting application materials;
  • Connect you with third-party lenders, grant agencies, and financing or referral partners;
  • Process payments for our services;
  • Respond to your inquiries and follow up with you about your engagement; and
  • Operate, secure, and improve our website and services.

Bulldog facilitates and prepares applications. We do not lend money and we do not guarantee approval, funding, or grant outcomes. No credit checks are performed for lending purposes until a formal offer is in place.

Consent & Electronic Communications (CASL)

When you submit an intake, partner, or contact form, you consent to be contacted by us by email, phone, or text regarding your inquiry and the services you have expressed interest in, in accordance with CASL. Our commercial electronic messages identify us and include a way to unsubscribe.

You may withdraw your consent to receive commercial electronic communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us at info@bulldogservices.org. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of communications sent before the withdrawal, and we may still send you non-commercial messages necessary to service an active engagement.

How & Why We Disclose Your Information

We disclose your information only as needed to deliver the services you request, and only to the categories of recipients below. We do not sell your personal information.

  • Third-party lenders, grant agencies, and partners. To submit your application and connect you with funding, grant, financing, and referral partners, we share the information those parties require to evaluate your request.
  • Payment processing (Stripe). Payments are processed by Stripe. Your payment card details are handled directly by Stripe and are subject to Stripe’s privacy practices.
  • Email & transactional delivery. We use an email/transactional delivery provider to send and receive messages related to your engagement.
  • Site hosting (Vercel). Our website is hosted on Vercel, which maintains standard server logs as part of providing the hosting service.

We require our service providers to use your information only to perform services on our behalf. We may also disclose information where required by law, to comply with a legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety and that of others.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy: to deliver our services, maintain our business records, and comply with our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or anonymize it.

Safeguards & Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. This includes limiting access to those who need it to deliver our services and relying on reputable processors (such as Stripe and Vercel) that maintain their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights (PIPEDA)

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you and request information about how it has been used and disclosed;
  • Correct personal information that is inaccurate or incomplete; and
  • Withdraw consent to our use of your information, subject to legal and contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@bulldogservices.org. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Cross-Border Information

We serve clients in both the United States and Canada, and our service providers and partners may be located in either country. As a result, your information may be stored or processed outside your province, state, or country of residence, and may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is held. We take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to receive an appropriate level of protection wherever it is processed.

Children

Our services are intended for businesses and for adults of the age of majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Third-Party Websites & Policies

When we connect you with third-party lenders, grant agencies, partners, or processors, your information may become subject to those parties’ own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies before sharing information with them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
